Students please schedule your annual adolescent well care exam appointment as soon as possible with the Morrow County Health District in Heppner, Ione or Irrigon, or Columbia River Community Health Services in Boardman.  This exam meets the evaluation requirement of a sport physical, but ALL youth are encouraged to get a preventive health care exam.

Success 101 will have their job interview opportunity tomorrow, June 6, during class.  Please dress in game day attire and report to the computer lab with your resume, cover letter and all class materials. Thank you!

Open Shop today from 4-5 p.m. and Thursday from 1-2:30 p.m. All students are welcome to come and finish their projects and graded welds, but those grades will be final after 2:30 p.m.

The HHS Yearbook is looking for current year track photos.  Please give or send them to Mr. Rosenbalm or Alex Lindsay.

The Heppner “Friends of the FFA” are looking for members to support our local chapter and advisor, Mrs. Dickenson.  Members of this group support the local FFA scholarship and help on projects as directed by Mrs. Dickenson.  Membership forms are available at the HHS office or from Mrs. Dickenson.  Membership dues are $30 per person.

12th Annual Youth Fishing Derby for youth 14 years old and younger on June 10 at Cutsforth Park.  Start time 8:30 a.m. End Time 11:00 a.m.

Senior Information

Senior yearbook photos and parent quotes are due to Mr. Rosenbalm. Senior parents have the option of adding a parent quote by the senior photo in the yearbook.  The cost of the quotes is $10.  Parents may also send the photos and quotes to the office to be forwarded to Mr. Rosenbalm.

Drivers Ed - Hermiston High School

Summer Job Opportunities

Summer Conservation Crew & Crew Leader Applications Available

CAPECO is hiring youth ages 16-21 to staff their summer conservation crew in the Umatilla National Forest.  There is also a position open for a crew leader.  Crew members will work full time Monday through Friday under the supervision of a crew leader on a variety of natural resources projects.  Applications are available in the holder outside the office.

Wildland Fire Suppression ODF John Day Unit will be hiring for wildland fire suppression from June - October. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.  Information is available in the holder by the office.
