Veteren’s Day: MCSD will be closed on November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day. Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans - living or dead, but especially recognizes living veterans who served honorably during war or peacetime. MCSD estará cerrado el 11 de noviembre en observancia del Día de los Veteranos. Day of the Dead The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. A blend of Mesoamerican ritual, European religion and Spanish culture, the holiday is celebrated each year from October 31-November 2. Día de los Muertos Esta festividad mexicana consiste en que las familias dan la bienvenida a las almas de sus parientes fallecidos en una breve reunión en la que se ofrece comida, bebida y celebración. Esta festividad, que mezcla rituales mesoamericanos, religión europea y cultura española, se celebra del 31 de octubre al 2 de noviembre cada año.
